The final tournament of the year for the 5 Alive Team Trail was on Saturday 11/22/25 at Hyco Lake in the STATE CONSTRUCTION Fall Trail.
I want to start out by saying THANK YOU to everyone that has came out and fished with us this year in any of our trails. It’s been a long season but a fun season.
We had 25 boats show up for the final tournament of the year. This tournament also decided who the 2025 STATE CONSTRUCTION FALL TRAIL Points Champions would be.
For the most part it was a two team race to see who the Points Champions would be. The team of Jonathan Rhew & Justin Rhew had the lead headed into the last tournament after winning the 4th tournament of the trail in impressive fashion.
They led the always strong team of Joey Moore & Jacob Moore who had a reasonable chance of catching them and passing them to win the Points Championship. If there was a team that I had to bet on to do that it would be them for sure.
As the weigh in proceeded the Moore & Moore team came to the scales with a solid bag weighing 13.93 pounds. Definitely giving them a shot at it.
A few teams later the Rhew & Rhew team came to the scales with a BIG GRIN on their faces as the looked at the leaderboard. They knew they had did their job and they did it in Big fashion once again.
They came to the scales with a 5 fish limit weighing 19.12 pounds anchored by a 6.62 pound fish. They left no chance for anyone to take it away from them. They WON
the tournament , the Points Championship and Big Fish of the tournament
. They did not play around. They took home a total of
$2130.00
, STATE CONSTRUCTION FALL TRAIL Points Champions Plaques and Bragging rights for a whole year.
Jonathan and Justin had a heck of a season and well deserved the tiltle. CONGRATULATIONS guys on a great year!
