Anglers, we finally have our schedule!
I know you all are wondering why we have lolligagged on getting this out. Billy has a torn bicep tendon, supraspinatus, infraspinatus and anterior labrum; we are looking to schedule surgery to have this all fixed in May. We do not have an exact date yet for surgery. This is why I have both May 11 and May 18 on the schedule. I anticipate knowing something a bit more definitive in the coming weeks and will post the exact date for our May tournament at that time. Additionally, you will notice that we have a few more tournaments scheduled at Monacan Park this season. This is a convenience factor for our family. Since we are not sure where Billy’s level of pain will be in May/June, we are keeping the tournaments close to home so if I (Lisa) need to run the tournaments, I am able to do so.
Our setup will be the same as we had last year. Each tournament will be $50/boat; we will have a Classic in October, which will be an open tournament. A side pot will be collected during the season to be paid out at the Classic for those that fish 4 of the 5 tournaments. A big fish side pot will be offered at each tournament for an additional cost.
