Missile Baits Releases Chunky D, New Colors
Salem, Va. – July 18, 2022 –Missile Baits is releasing the Chunky D to add to their collection of flipping and pitching soft plastics. The Chunky D is a 3.5” thick body, action craw bait. The hard thumping flappers work great when the Chunky D is used as a Texas rigged flipping bait, a full-sized jig trailer, or on a swing head.
“The Mini D Chunk was such a big hit with jig anglers, we needed a larger version for full-sized flipping and swim jigs, so I designed the Chunky D. The best part is that you can also use it for Texas rigging, Carolina rigging, or swing head fishing. The legs on the Chucky D kick like a mule!” says John Crews, BASS pro angler and Missile Baits owner.
The Chunky D will come in 8 colors that you would expect from Missile Baits. Some of the colors include Green Pumpkin, Pearl White, Bruiser Flash, and Shad Flash. Each clam packaging will be loaded with 6 baits for a suggested retail price of $5.69. First production run is expected in November 2022.
Missile Baits is also adding 4 new colors to the Mini D Chunk. The colors are Flipping Blue, Goby Bite, Junebug, and Fried Melon. Each of the new colors matches perfectly with existing Mini Flip or Mini Swim Jig colors. The new Mini D Chunk colors are expected in August 2022.
