We get emails all the time from folks looking for a good, all-purpose rod for bass fishing. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars when you’re just starting to tournament fish. When I first started fishing tournaments in my late teens, I won several tournaments with only two rods in my entire boat. That’s all I could afford.
