FLW, FISHIDY PARTNER AGAIN IN 2015
MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 27, 2015) – FLW, the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization, has announced a sponsorship renewal with map-based fishing social network Fishidy. The platform allows members to connect with other anglers, log catches and share spot information with differing levels of privacy via its website and mobile app. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Patterson Leeth, vice president of marketing at FLW, said, “Fishidy’s innovation and engagement make them a perfect fit for FLW. We’re excited to integrate and share their unique fish-finding tools, interactive maps and social network with our passionate fan base.”
Per the agreement, the Wisconsin-based company will receive exposure through multiple FLW outlets, including its website, tournaments and expos, social media communities and FLW Bass Fishing magazine.
“We’ve seen that tournament anglers continue to be one of our most engaged and valued customer segments,” said Brian Jensen, CEO at Fishidy. “Our partnership with FLW and the exposure they provide for us have proven to deliver added quality to our membership base that will continue to position Fishidy as the premier platform for real-time fishing information and social interaction.”
Fishidy allows anglers to explore real-time interactive fishing maps and fishing reports, track catches, and engage with an exclusive community of other anglers, captains, guides and bait shops. A Premium Subscription is also available that unlocks even more data, from proven Fishing Hot Spots® to mapped underwater structures and an hour-by-hour fishing forecaster. To learn more about the opportunities afforded to members, and to try Fishidy for free, visit Fishidy.com, or download the mobile app via Apple iTunes and Google Play Store.
