Buddy Wallace Wins Division 32 Championship and Angler of the Year

Buddy Wallace of Cedar Grove, TN won the 2018 Division 32 Championship and Angler of the Year title. The two day championship was out of Paris Landing on Kentucky Lake. Wallace ended up weighing in 5-bass with a total weight of 30.94-lbs. Wallace caught his limit fishing top water. Buddy collected a $1,000 check for the win.

Second was Bill Stines of Paris, TN; he weighed in a total of 19.99-lbs. Bill was using top water. He collected a check for $576.

Third was Tom O’Bryant of Cedar Grove, TN, who weighed in a total of 18.95-lbs. Tom’s fish were caught off top water baits. Tom collected a check for $188.

Big Fish honor was earned by Buddy Wallace of Cedar Grove, TN with a 6.58-lb large mouth.

These anglers accrued valuable points toward the Divisional Angler of the Year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship.  In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.

The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship for this fall on Lake Hartwell near Anderson SC.
